No Bake Cookie Dough Protein Balls

Gluten Free & Dairy Free Chocolate Chip Protein Balls

Are you like me and always reach for a little sweet treat after a meal? Well then I have the perfect recipe for you... these protein bites are the perfect way to satisfy your sweet tooth. They are made of amazing ingredients to fuel your body and mind as well.

The combination of ingredients in this snack makes for the perfect bite every time. What I love most about these is that you can be super creative as well! Don't have honey? Use maple syrup. Don't have peanut butter? Use another nut butter. Don't have chocolate chips? Use any nut or dried fruit.

You can even form them into bars if you want larger serving sizes or just find that easier to eat!

Cookie Dough Protein Balls

Ingredients

Again, there is a handful of variations to this recipe so follow the below or play around with it:

  • 1 cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats

  • 1/3 cup Vanilla Protein Powder (I used Ritual)

  • 1/4 cup peanut butter

  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

  • chocolate chips or chunks (I used EnjoyLife to make this dairy free)

  • 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup)

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional)

  • 1-2 tablespoons almond milk

Directions

  1. Place all ingredients in a large bowl

  2. Mix with a spoon until all ingredients are thoroughly combined

  3. Use your hands to form these into balls at your desired size. (Pro tip: Lightly oil or wet hands with water to help avoid a sticky mess)

  4. Place on wax paper and into the fridge for 30 mins. Store in an airtight container to keep them fresh and avoid drying out.

  5. ENJOY!!

These are amazing for a good source of protein, fat, complex carbs and added nutrients in our diet. I eat them after meals or in between as a little "pick me up" snack. You can get extremely creative with these!

Make these delicious balls of joy and tag me to let me know how yours turned out!!
